Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:

I would like to extend a sincere welcome to the parents/guardians of returning Matignon High School students for the upcoming school year! At the same time, it is my pleasure to embrace and welcome more than one hundred members of the Freshmen Class to our Matignon High School Family. I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a new, exciting and blessed school year. The Matignon High School community is committed to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional education of each and every one of our students.

Over the past few years, Matignon High School has exhibited a refreshing energy and vibrancy that has engulfed all aspects of the school. Our administration, faculty, and students are dedicated to the school motto, “Expect Excellence.” Everyone is expected and challenged to raise their personal standards and benchmarks to a higher level. This can only be achieved through cooperation and teamwork among staff, students, and parents/guardians, along with a positive attitude and a solid work ethic.

As the Principal, I will provide our students with an environment to prepare them for the future. It is my objective for our students to identify and nurture their passions in life. Working under the Matignon philosophy, our staff will provide your child a solid foundation to create and develop the path to pursue these interests.

Walt Disney was the creator of Disney World, the place where we all become children. He was asked how did he develop so many innovative creations. His response was, “If you can dream it, you can do it!”
