Many well thought out changes have occurred at Matignon. The new front to the school, the completely renovated science labs, library-media center, locker rooms, fitness room, and athletic fields to the innovative smart-board technology in all of our classrooms have all supported the idea of a “new” Matignon. Our motto of “expect excellence” is exemplified by our excellent staff, dedicated faculty, strong and determined administration, well-motivated student body and supportive parent group.

These elements have combined to increase our student population by over 44% in the last two years. While increasing our population we have kept our commitment to retain small class sizes as demonstrated by our 17 to 1 student to classroom teacher ratio. We have also increased the rigor of our curriculum while adding new extra-curricular activities for our students.

The future is very bright for Matignon High School and I am proud to serve as the school’s first Headmaster. We all look forward to a rewarding educational year for all of our students and members of our Matignon Family.
