MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
DAY 6
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16th, 2014

TODAY IS A PM ASSEMBLY FOR THE LIVING STATIONS OF THE CROSS.

Thank you to all who contributed to the Tag day.
We raised almost $1,300 for the One Fund.

Congratulations to Amanda Brennan, Lissy Angotti and Jacqueline Given! They are on the Team New England national swim team. They finished in 3rd place in the Boys and Girls Club National Swim meet.

The guidance department will be visiting Providence College on Wednesday April 30th with any juniors interested in applying to those colleges.

  • Please sign up in the main guidance office and pick up a permission slip.
  • Students visiting colleges with the guidance department must be in Matignon uniform dress code and money for lunch or they can bring their own lunch.

SPAIN Exchange group: All students that participated in the Spain Exchange to CADIZ are asked to report to Room 219 on this afternoon at 2:15 for the purpose of a brief post-travel evaluation. Everyone is requested to attend. In the event of conflict, please see Profa. Salim in advance.

Tuesday’s track meet was postponed until Thursday April 17th.

Varsity Baseball will play Cambridge at St. Peter’s Field on Apr. 24 at 10am

and JV Baseball will play in Cambridge at Rindge Field on Apr. 24 at 10am. Both games were rescheduled from Apr. 1.

The Girls tennis match scheduled for Apr. 16 will now be held on Apr. 29 at 3:30pm at Austin Prep.

The Girls tennis match scheduled for Apr. 22 vs. Somerville will now be on May 1 at 5pm. at Tufts. 

Last Saturday’s Varsity softball game has been postponed until May 26th at 11 am.

The JV game will now be on Wednesday, April 23, at 12pm at Gallagher Park in Lynn.

Yoga club will NOT meet this week.

LOST ITEMS: an Iphone 4 with a Blue Otter box case,  a pair of gray sperries , a blue translater, and an Algebra I book, if any items are found please turn them in to the Main Office.
FOUND: a pair of glasses outside the Weight room.

DAY 5
TUESDAY, APRIL 15th, 2014

Today is a $5 tag day to mark the anniversary of the marathon bombing and to aid the continued efforts of the One Fund. All are encouraged to wear Boston attire or blue and yellow. Donations beyond the $5 fee are also welcome. Seniors are encouraged to participate.

The Junior night Mass has been moved to May 8th at 6pm.

International Student Basketball Tournament: All International students are invited to a recreation level basketball tournament sponsored by the Cambridge Basketball Academy. The tournament will be held on Saturday, Apr. 26 in Somerville. The cost is $50 and a t-shirt, refreshments and 3 games guaranteed. If interested, please contact Neil Holloway at 617-436-0900. A flyer is posted outside of Mrs. Crass’ office as well.

The International club will decorate Easter eggs after school in the cafeteria. Everyone is welcome!

MONDAY, APRIL 14th, 2014

The Junior night Mass has been moved to May 8th at 6pm.

Sign up for the Living Stations of the Cross in the Campus Ministry office.

The guidance department will be visiting Assumption College on Monday April 14, 2014 with any juniors interested in applying to Assumption College. 

  • We have a limited number of spaces available.
  • Juniors must have a GPA of 3.0 or above to attend this trip.
  • Please sign up in the main guidance office and pick up a permission slip.
  • Students visiting colleges with the guidance department must be in Matignon uniform dress code and money for lunch or they can bring their own lunch.

Boys Tennis practice on Monday is at Barry Park in Medford at 4:30pm.
